A dead hedge! A wonderful concept. I’ve just moved from Somerset to Loch Fyne in Argyll & Bute and to a blank half acre canvas of a garden. I need a boundary and a dead hedge it is! Thank you for this and for your update too.

Fantastic! a wonderful habitat for wildlife..and virtually free to build! we've even asked neighbours for any spare dry materials they don't need :-) if you're interested check out our Instagram story highlights "dead hedge" which records some of the progress

Stunning photos , I’m sure it s been a lot of hard work so far . An incredible amount of work has been done. The cottage full of character . Such a marvel to look out on. Everything doing it’s own thing with hard work and encouragement. I love wild and all that it brings sounds like an amazing place to live . And although it’s on going you have both got this to a very enjoyable , fictional space .
